***ITA Giovedì 28 Nel pomeriggio abbiamo incontrato Henry de Dinechin, direttore amministrativo dell’ospedale Saint Jean-Baptiste, 120 km circa a nord-est della capitale Abidjan, in località Bodo. L’incontro, di circa un’ora, è stato interessante e esaustivo. Dinechin ci ha trasmesso una sensazione di concretezza e trasparenza. Il Saint Jean-Baptiste è un ospedale privato, confessionale, che opera sul territorio in regime di gratuità. Inaugurato nel 2015, è stato realizzato dalla Compagnie Frutière (import-export frutta) di Marsiglia ed è sostenuto dall’Ordine di Malta per la gestione. Dispone di tre blocchi operatori, 77 posti letto, circa 200 dipendenti di cui 130 sanitari. I numeri del 2022 sono: 1200 traumi da incidenti stradali, 640 parti di cui 240 cesarei, 530 operazioni chirurgiche, 23000 consultazioni. Nel 2023 è stata promossa una campagna di sensibilizzazione sulla chirurgia maxillo-facciale con obiettivo minimo di effettuare 25 interventi. Il progetto è stato parzialmente realizzato. Dinechin ci ha prospettato la volontà dell’amministrazione di portare a termine il progetto rimasto in sospeso con la collaborazione di un chirurgo maxillo-facciale disponibile ad una missione anche breve (10/15 gg). Venerdì 29 In mattinata abbiamo raggiunto l’ospedale (circa 1,30 h su una strada in ottime condizioni). Siamo stati accolti da uno staff composto da due medici ivoriani e da una volontaria francese. Abbiamo visitato i tre blocchi, sala risveglio, e altri locali tecnici. Lo standard ci è apparso di livello europeo sia per le attrezzature che per gli ambienti ( le sale operatorie sono pressurizzate). In fine mattinata abbiamo visitato la scuola del vicino villaggio di Kanga Nianzé che ospita circa seicento alunni della scuola primaria provenienti da due diversi villaggi limitrofi (la scuola, per le sue dimensioni, è suddivisa in due unità con due direttori). Erano presenti il sindaco, i due capi-villaggio, rappresentanti delle comunità, insegnanti. Gli alunni non erano presenti a causa delle festività pasquali (una buona parte della popolazione è cristiana). La struttura, costruita tra il 2010 e il 2020 presenta i segni del tempo ed in parte è ancora in costruzione. Abbiamo donato 200 rubriche che verranno destinate a scopo didattico per gli alunni dei primi anni (regole grammaticali, vocabolario ecc.). Abbiamo ricevuto la consueta richiesta di aiuto per materiale didattico e manutenzione. Abbiamo avuto infine un interessante incontro con Jenny Mezile, promotrice di un articolato progetto locale di sviluppo per l’integrazione della cultura, dell’alfabetizzazione e dello sport nel villaggio. Il programma di questo progetto potrà essere un interessante spunto di riflessione nell’ambito Menomali istruzione. Infine abbiamo visitato la stele che consacra uno dei luoghi principali di deportazione degli schiavi presso il sito Kanga Nianzé [Schiavo Purificato]. ***FRA Jeudi 28 Dans l’après-midi, nous avons rencontré Henry de Dinechin, directeur administratif de l’hôpital Saint Jean-Baptiste, à environ 120 km au nord-est de la capitale Abidjan, à Bodo. Dinechin nous a présenté la volonté de l’administration de mener à bien le projet restant en attente avec la collaboration d’un chirurgien maxillo-facial disponible pour une mission même courte (10/15 jours). Vendredi 29 Le matin, nous sommes arrivés à l’hôpital (environ 1,30 h sur une route en très bon état). Nous avons été accueillis par un personnel composé de deux médecins ivoiriens et d’une volontaire française. Nous avons visité les trois blocs, la salle de réveil et d’autres locaux techniques. La norme nous est apparue au niveau européen tant pour les équipements que pour les environnements (les salles d’opération sont pressurisées). En fin de matinée, nous avons visité l’école du village voisin de Kanga Nianzé qui accueille environ six cents élèves de l’école primaire de deux villages voisins différents (l’école, en raison de sa taille, est divisée en deux unités avec deux directeurs). Le maire, les deux chefs de village, les représentants des communautés, les enseignants étaient présents. Les élèves n’étaient pas présents en raison des vacances de Pâques (une bonne partie de la population est chrétienne). La structure, construite entre 2010 et 2020, présente des signes du temps et est encore en construction. Nous avons fait don de 200 rubriques qui seront destinées à des fins éducatives pour les élèves de la première année (règles grammaticales, vocabulaire, etc.). Nous avons reçu la demande d’aide habituelle pour le matériel pédagogique et la maintenance. Nous avons finalement eu une rencontre intéressante avec Jenny Mezile, promoteur d’un projet de développement local articulé pour l’intégration de la culture, de l’alphabétisation et du sport dans le village. Friday 29 In the morning, we arrived at the hospital (about 1.30 a.m. on a road in very good condition). We were welcomed by a staff composed of two Ivorian doctors and a French volunteer. We visited the three blocks, the recovery room and other technical rooms. The standard appeared to us at the European level for both equipment and environments (the operating rooms are pressurised). At the end of the morning, we visited the school in the neighbouring village of Kanga Nianzé, which welcomes about six hundred primary school students from two different neighbouring villages (the school, because of its size, is divided into two units with two principals). The mayor, the two village chiefs, the representatives of the communities, the teachers were present. The students were not present because of the Easter holidays (a good part of the population is Christian). The structure, built between 2010 and 2020, shows signs of time and is still under construction. We have donated 200 sections that will be intended for educational purposes for first-year students (grammatical rules, vocabulary, etc.). We have received the usual request for help with teaching materials and maintenance. We finally had an interesting meeting with Jenny Mezile, promoter of a local development project articulated for the integration of culture, literacy and sport in the village. The program of this project can be an interesting avenue for reflection in the field of education.
