It being the first Sunday of the month it was time for one of my shorter walks for Hornsea District Walking Club. So at 10 o'clock on a bright Sunday morning, twelve of us gathered at Field House Farm on the Yorkshire Wolds near the little village of Tibthorpe. Our participants today came from as far afield as Winestead, Barton-upon-Humber, Leven, Brandesburton, Beverley and Pocklington, but none from Hornsea!
Today's walk would be 'about' 7 miles and go via North Dalton, a section of the Minster Way, and the wide, not so deep, valley of Deep Dale. There are several 'Deep Dales' on the Yorkshire Wolds - this one is probably the least deep, but is probably the widest.
