Ramaiah Medical College has Successfully conducted the first interns Comprehensive Emergency Care and Life Support (C-ECLS) course in association with Jeeva Raksha trust and RGUHS from 30 Oct to 2 Nov 2019 at Ramaiah Advanced Learning centre. Honourable Vice Chancellor of RGUHS Dr.Sacchidanand appreciated the administrators and faculty for taking up this initiative and congratulated for being the first college to implement in RGUHS affiliated colleges. Trainers from Ramaiah Medical College, Basaveshwara Medical College Chitradurga, Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Trauma and Orthopedics , Sapthagiri Medical College , MVJ Medical College along with Dr.Padmaja and Dr Ram Nair from Jeevaraksha trust and Dr.Vijayabhaskar Reddy, Dr.Peter Taillac from University of Utah trained our students over a period of four days. All the participants successfully completed the training and were certified. The workshop was appreciated by students as well as all the external facilitators. Our faculty who organised the program include Dr Vijayadas,Dr Harish,Dr. Nivedita, Dr Akshith,Dr.Pradeep, Dr.Shravan, Dr.Ashwin, Dr.Rathai. Emergency Dept nursing staff and Ms. Roopa of Admission Section helped out with the program.
