Puglia is a wonderful region located in the south of Italy, known for its stunning landscapes, rich history, and delicious cuisine. Visiting Puglia in early October can be an ideal time as the temperatures are mild, and the crowds are significantly smaller than during the peak summer months. The beaches are still enjoyable, and there are fewer cars on the road, allowing visitors to enjoy scenic drives along the coastline. The locals are known for their hospitality and are always willing to provide excellent service, making visitors feel welcome and at home. With the help of locals or a travel guide, visitors can explore the many historic towns and villages, admire the beautiful architecture, and savour the incredible local cuisine. From the stunning beaches to the charming countryside, Puglia has something for everyone and is definitely a must-visit destination in Italy. We did enjoy at maximum the province of Puglia in South Italy! PS. We were lucky to have neighbours in Switzerland from that area that did help a lot with our Puglia hidden paths.
