A couple of years ago I got a recurve bow as a present for Christmas. I thought it would be fun to have a rangefinder tell me the distance to targets to help practice aiming. I would love to 3D print this housing soon and purchase the parts to build this project.
A Garmin LIDAR-Lite V3 laser rangefinder has a range of 40 meters. Perfect for a bow attachment for my hobby! Most bows have an attachment screw hole on the side of the bow. The square panel would screw into place there. Slots on the housing would hold the part to the bow. An LCD would readout the distance (also I don't know how to render LCDs well, so it looks like it's broken).
