While our ship docks at Recife, we take an excursion to visit a UNESCO world heritage site, the small city of Olinda on Brazil’s Northeastern coast. Renown as one of the prettiest towns in Brazil, the old town has some of the best examples of colonial architecture in the country. It is a very tranquil town with palm trees lining the streets and beautiful views out to the ocean.
The town of Olinda is very artistic, as you can see from the many works of art displayed in the streets.
