Bishop Terry Brady officiated at the 6pm Vigil Mass at St Canice's this evening, and confirmed six of our young people. The bishop explained that just as the Holy Spirit came down from Heaven on Mary and the Apostles in the Upper Room, with tongues of fire appearing over their heads giving them the ability to preach the Gospel message of Christ to all people of the world, so too was He here in the confines of St Canice’s tonight giving our newly confirmed similar responsibilities.
