2023年10月13-14日,本校童軍到蔡志明聯光童軍中心進行原野烹飪考核和露營。
原野烹飪秉承冒險和自給自足的精神,童軍在過程中需要在野外環境中用天然及最少的物資生火,並烹調不同的食物。本校童軍在認識不同的種類的天然物料及生火方法後,大部分只需使用1支火柴,便能成功把他們搭建的柴架點燃,少數童軍需用到2-3支火柴。在不使用任何烹飪工具下,童軍利用他們的創意,最終成功把他們所選的食物煮熟。
是次露營讓童軍充分利用周圍環境中發現的自然資源提供獨特的烹飪體驗,與大自然聯繫,成功完成考校,亦提升學生適應能力和創造力。
Our scout team members went to the Choi Chee Ming Luen Kwong Scout Centre for the Backwoods Cooking assessment and camping.
Backwoods cooking embraces the spirit of adventure and self-sufficiency. Scout need to use natural resources found in the surrounding environment. After our Scouts learned about different types of natural materials and methods of making fire, most of them only needed 1 match to successfully light the firewood rack they built, while a few Scouts needed 2-3 matches. The Scouts used their creativity to cook their chosen food without using any cooking tools.
This camping trip allows Scouts to make full use of the natural resources found in the surrounding environment to provide a unique cooking experience, and also enhance students' adaptability and creativity.
