Gail was up in New York staying with her Mom and visiting friends. I have been in the thriving megalopolis of Dawsonville Georgia where I have friends and mostly working on a writing (actually an editing) project. It's my fathers Memoir, I think I have described it elsewhere. I have yet to find a dentist I like in Dawsonville so I wanted to go to the one in Lauderdale, I also had a couple other errands to take care of. My friend Ellie rode along and we made a touristic stop at a state park called Ichetucknee springs where we went swimming it the cool clear water of the Blue Hole spring and the next day went tubeing down the spring fed Ichetucknee river. The spring water is 72 Degrees year round. Quite bracing when you first get it. Ellie waited at the dock for a long time while I swam and I wasn't sure I was going to get her to get into the water. I came back out and tried to persuade her that once you got past the initial rush the water wasn't really THAT cold. I wanted her to experience it but I didn't want to be too pushy. Finally she took the plunge and she admitted later that she was glad she did.
