The thermometer said mid-90's, but it felt over a 100 degrees, on this first of July. A few members drove their "non-Z" cars to the meet in air conditioned comfort. We braved the humidity to hang out a bit, and had to fortune to meet Nelson Marquez. Nelson hails from Austin, TX, and the Capital Z Club. He was in New Jersey for a family event, searched for area Z clubs and noticed we were having a meet on the 1st... Nelson has an award winning Z31 300ZX, and it was cool sharing stories of last year's nationals (which Capital Z hosted). Nelson is now an honorary member of the NJ Z Car Club, and we look forward to seeing him at this year's convention in Atlanta.
