International Friendship Day is a time to celebrate the invaluable bonds of friendship that transcend borders, cultures, and languages. At Unity Primary School, we embrace the spirit of friendship and diversity, recognizing the importance of fostering connections that unite us as global citizens. It is a time to reflect on the values of empathy, understanding, and inclusivity that form the foundation of meaningful friendships. Through various activities and initiatives, we encourage our students to embrace diversity, cultivate empathy, and extend a hand of friendship to peers from all walks of life. This International Friendship Day, our students had the opportunity to learn more about the vibrant and rich cultures of the ASEAN countries, especially Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam & Lao PDR. Our students also had fun at the recess activity booths throughout the week, engaging in art & craft and ICT activities to enrich their understanding of the culture of the three countries and show gratitude to their friends.
