It's not happiness that brings us gratitude. It's gratitude that brings us happiness. To feel this happiness Akshara Vaagdevi International School in collaboration with Pallavi Model School organised a Corporate Social Responsibility programme on 8th April, 2020 around 10.15am in our school premises. Guests of Honour for this event were Sri Mr.Chandra shekar CEO of Cantonment, Sri Mr. Devender Superintendent Health and Sanitation Cantonment were present on this occasion. They were accompanied by Mr PL Srinivas Chairman and Correspondent of RGR Siddhanthi Group of Colleges and Founder of Akshara Vaagdevi International School, board of directors AVIS Mr. Susheel, Ms Alekhya Pratap and Mrs. Vanaja, Principal. Programme was an initiative to express gratitude towards the unrelentless extended services of Sanitation Department of Cantonment Board, Secunderabad in this pandemic situation of COVID19. Mr.Chandra shekar, CEO of Cantonment, handed over a packet of essential supplies worth Rs 800 to the sanitation workers Each packet contained 5kg rice, 1kg oil, two kinds of pulses, tamarind and few vegetables which would last a family for a week. About 100 packets were distributed to the workers. The team of Akshara Vaagdevi International School supported the Management for the cause by contributing their one-day salary. Abiding the Government rules and regulation of COVID-19 of social distancing and safety measures, the programme signed off on a successful note. Programme coverage was telecasted on T News.
