We started our last day in the Moab area right: first, a bike ride on the old Moab highway up towards the vast mountain bike terrain on the town outskirts, including around Arches NP. Thank goodness we were on road bikes! At the bike hub where we started, a gorgeous trail followed the Colorado River into the canyon for the prettiest two miles I've ever ridden.

Our afternoon destination was Dead Horse Point, a state park near the Canyonlands NP. It was a very hot day, so we limited our hiking to the rim of the point itself. The views were amazing.
