Being Jewish and in China. Food was, and still is, a major part of my life. I am unsure where the Jewish-Chinese food match was made, but it is one I hope sticks around. Eating was also something I did two times a day so it was an easy way to make content. Just describe the food, where I got it, and what I thought of it. Also, I could stock pile food pictures for posting later.
I am a bit of an idiot so I was willing to drink the Chinese wines and the baijiu (白酒), a Chinese spirit with a taste most foreigners disliked. Come to think of it, most foreigners disliked the local Chinese alcohol with the exception of the beer. The wine all had a musty taste I was told was the local preference and baijiu takes practice to drink. Alcohol also flows quite freely on the Mainland with most groceries, convent stores, and small shops selling some alcohol.
