On Saturday 22nd August 2020 a remembrance ceremony was held to remember the crash of the Wellington.  First there was a wreath laying at the crashsite and afterwards a small ceremony at the cemetery. Wellington III (BJ831) of 150 Squadron took off from RAF Snaith and was hit by Flak over Frankfurt in the night of 24-25 August 1942. On the way back, another night fighter got involved, he set fire to the starboard wing. Shortly afterwards, the Wellington crashed at Miskom (in the hamlet of Kattebos in Kersbeek), together with three members of the crew. Two more survivors died in captivity.
