Having recently made a return visit to one of Raleigh’s historic landmarks, we’re sharing some of our pictures with you! The Borden Building, built in 1900, is one of two remaining structures from the 60-acre Methodist Orphanage Campus, which served children from 1899 through 1979. The building itself served as the residence of the orphanage’s superintendent, later becoming a dormitory for boys in the 1950s.
