Bangkok is one of our favorite cities. As we've spent several days her previously, and know the city well, we decide to explore on our own. We begin by visiting the famous, Wat Pho - the oldest and largest Bangkok Temple, built in the 16th century. It is famous for the reclining Buddha, although we did not get to see it on this visit.

Leaving the temple complex, we walk past several other minor temples as we head toward the water. We run into some of our friends who are heading out on a ferry, but we decide to have a "Chang" at the dockside bar. As we explored the city by ferry the last time we were here, we chose to find the markets next.
