闊別三年，因新冠疫情肆虐而未克再次舉辦的實體家長日終於在2023年2月25日圓滿舉行。當天家長得以再次與班主任面談，了解學生的學習及在校情況；亦能在地下大堂參與由學校社工及聖雅各福群會舉辦的攤位，以了解正向家庭關係及家庭輔導服務。一樓大堂的活動也目不暇及，本校紅十字會及社區藥物教育輔導會為家長及學生準備簡單身體檢查，家政科和旅遊科則為大家預備了輕怡茶點。當天的重頭戲非家長講座及頒獎儀式莫屬，我們很高興邀請到駐校教育心理學家主持有關「網上成癮」家長講座，而各級首三名的學生則獲發獎座。 It has been three years that the face-to-face Parents' Day been suspended due to Covid-19. It was finally successfully held on February 25, 2023. Parents had interview with the class teacher to understand the students' learning and performance in school. They also participated in the booths organized by the school social worker and St. James' Settlement in the lobby to learn about positive family relationships and family counseling services. In the 1/F lobby, the Red Cross and Community Drug Advisory Council had prepared simple physical examinations for parents and students, and the Home Economics and Tourism Departments had prepared light refreshments for everyone. The highlight of the day was the parents’ talk and prize presentation. We were delighted to invite our school-based educational psychologist to host a parents’ talk on "Internet Addiction". The top three students of each form were awarded trophies too.
