The Department of Endocrinology, Ramaiah Medical College has successfully celebrated the World Diabetes Day with a walkathon led by the faculty and staff of Ramaiah Medical college and hospitals and the children of Ramaiah high school. There was also an awareness programme, HbA1c and GRBS testing for the faculty and staff of Ramaiah Medical college and hospitals. Dr. Medha. Y. Rao, Principal and Dean, Ramaiah Medical College, graced the occasion and encouraged the children of Ramaiah High school to lead a healthy lifestyle . Our faculty who organised the program include Dr Mala Dharmalingam, Dr. K. Suryanarayana, Dr. Pramila Kalra, Dr. Chitra.S and Dr. Ganavi.Y.P. PRO Mr. Prakash and nursing staff of Ramaiah Memorial hospital helped out with the program.
