Now we need a deck - Our neighbor is a contractor and has built most of the decks in the campground, so he built one for us. Our deck ended up being 20 feet long by 8 feet wide, the same size as our awning which is all the bigger we are allowed to build. We bought our wood from the local lumber yard and had it delivered the day before but had to go to Home Depot for the nails. We were looking for a box of 1,000 nails but they only had a box of 4,000 so what do we do now. While trying to decide, another guy came up looking for the same nails. After a short conversation we found out he was one of our neighbors in the campground and having a deck built by the same guy on the same day as ours. What were the odds of that; being at the same place at the same time looking for the same nails and not knowing about the other. Problem solved, we shared the nails and split the cost and gave the excess to Dave, the builder. We now have a neat wood deck and solid steps into our fifth-wheel.
