Eleven members of the Hanover Lions Club and one Lion from the West Manheim Lions performed vision screening services recently. A total of 48 five and six year old children in Hanover School District’s three elementary schools were seen for the screenings. This service was part of the district’s kindergarten registration and orientation day for the coming 2025-26 school year.

Pictured above is Lion Mike Kaehler holding a creative frame that each of the young future students held for parent pictures prior to coming in for a vision screening. Most would say Mike is a bit old (and tall) for a graduation year of 2038.
