What started as a windy and cool morning turned into a windy & cool afternoon but team Genentech warmed up quickly and did an amazing job cleaning the Rockaway district and Community Center and neighborhood - finding stuff churned up from the winds on the beach and hidden stuff among the weeds near the Community Center! And that was just the start of the shift!

Following the cleanup the morning weeded the remaining patch of Italian Thistle, Radish, Poison Hemlock, OxTongue, and Fennel from the Rockaway Headland and the afternoon team cleared a huge patch of radish, ox tongue, poison hemlock down the bike path of Linda Mar to the lower trees! What a GREAT day!
