Originally I was going to convert a regular piano to be MIDI-operated. In these photos you can see me opening and cleaning my existing 1903 Epworth piano to see if its a good candidate for this project. I decided it was not because of the heavy action, which would require expensive solenoids. But it did get a good cleaning in the process!
First photos of the reed organ action out of its case! I completely disassembled and cleaned the action, literally top down: first you take off the keys, then you take out the dowels that push the pallets, etc.
